Thank you so much for this Larry! Now I know about two of Anthony Leroy Shively's siblings thanks to you. As a bit of a side story, William Harrison Shively's mother, as you pointed out, is Harriet Little. If you follow her back, Harriet Little's mother is Emeline Reed. And Emeline Reed's brother's name was William Harrison Reed. Therefore William Harrison Shively may have been named after a great uncle on his mother's side.
ReplyDeleteMy paternal grandmother was Edna Lorraine Shively and my father Donal Kindler) grew up in Holly, CO and we lived there until I was 5. I knew Georga (correct spelling) Shively Shanstrom very well. She went to live with my grandmother (Edna) after she retired as Hospital Administrator in Brush, CO; Charlie was the postmaster in Holly, CO well past the normal retirement age; Paul also lived in Holly until his death. He did woodworking; I only knew Wayne Shively by name and he and his family lived in Wakeeny, KS. Don't know whether this information is of any use or interest to you.? Diane Schouten Jan22, 2014
